. hols are over. back to work!]
school is kind of a refreshing change from the hols. in an ironic way, i'm loving the way i have to wake up earlier n sleep later just so i can cram a few more paragraphs of reading into my head. maybe i'm a bit perverse. :S
to those in the same boat as me, school's cool cos we're in our graduating or penultinate year of study! is it not? :) for me, things are starting to look clearer, fall into place and i can make some linkages between what i've studied for the past sems and in this present sem. and i think that's cool. for me, at least. :D
but i'm still normal. i'm also looking forward to the dec break when i can do all the fun holiday stuff again. :) it just feels kinda nice to learn again. it's not everyday that i feel intelligent, or that my brain's working some of its juices to its full capacity.
i'm still thinking about whether or not i should attempt my HT or do an ISM module. there are still modules that i wanna take next sem. i don't have enough space in my module curriculum to do everything i wanna do!! :( i'm a little crazy, but if i don't have to consider workload n CAP, i'd definitely do everything i fancy. see how i hate administrative restraints and the pedantic attention to silly details. :S
let's pull up our CAPs tgt this sem!!!
other things will fall into place. :) i'm sure.
jia you k. :) :) :)

MIRROR
I am silver and exact. I have no preconceptions.
What ever you see I swallow immediately
Just as it is, unmisted by love or dislike.
I am not cruel, only truthful---
The eye of a little god, four-cornered.
Most of the time I meditate on the opposite wall.
It is pink, with speckles. I have looked at it so long
I think it is a part of my heart. But it flickers.
Faces and darkness separate us over and over.
Now I am a lake. A woman bends over me,
Searching my reaches for what she really is.
Then she turns to those liars, the candles or the moon.
I see her back, and reflect it faithfully.
She rewards me with tears and an agitation of hands.
I am important to her. She comes and goes.
Each morning it is her face that replaces the darkness.
In me she has drowned a young girl, and in me an old woman
Rises toward her day after day, like a terrible fish.
